Northern Kentucky Norse vs. Wright State Raiders PK (7pm ET)

An interesting battle between the last two teams to win the Horizon League takes place tonight with the oddsmakers backing off and inserting a pick 'em line. Both teams went 13-5 SU in conference play through the season, and a clash in the Horizon title game always seemed to be destined. From my vantage point, Wright State is an easy pick. They're 9-1 SU and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 games overall and also covered both head-to-heads against the Norse this year despite the teams splitting the series at one apiece. In fact, the Raiders have gone 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games against their rivals.

Why press the ATS records when there's no line? Because, more than anything, a team that routinely covers the spread is either meeting expectation or exceeding it. So even with zero line on this game, Wright State should clearly have your confidence as the team worth backing in the Horizon League finals. By contrast, Northern Kentucky is 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games.

Saint Mary's Gaels vs. Gonzaga Bulldogs -14.5 (9pm ET)

Gonzaga is gunning for their 18th West Coast title and their seventh consecutive championship in as many seasons when they take on Saint Mary's tonight. As the spread indicates, this should be a cake walk for the Zags, who have been undefeated in conference play this year and are 7-3 SU and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 meetings with the Gaels. The large number here is a tough one to swallow, as the Bulldogs have gone just 2-5 ATS when the spread is double-digits. In their last game, Gonzaga won by +14.0 points. What should comfort you is that they also decimated Saint Mary's by 48 points in their first meeting back in February, while playing on the road.

It's also worth pointing out that the historical record between these two West Coast powerhouses is seriously lopsided. Saint Mary's is just 7-21 ATS in their last 28 meetings with their rivals. This is an easy game to overthink with backdoor covers, and Gonzaga leaning off the pedal late in the second half, but the respect for Gonzaga deserves to be in place. Gonzaga will send a clear message as they await their regional fate in March Madness by stomping Saint Mary's free and clear.
