NCAAF game odds are now available at BetAmerica!

College football will almost certainly look different in 2020, but the plan to play the season is still full steam ahead.

Here are a few more matchups with enticing odds to keep an eye on this season.

BYU vs. Utah

Last season, the Utes were one win away from a College Football Playoff spot but dropped the ball against Oregon in the Pac-12 Championship Game.

In 2020, Utah must replace quarterback Tyler Huntley, running back Zack Moss, and the school’s career sack leader, Bradlee Anae. The Utes’ top-five scoring defense also lost nine starters.

In a late-night Thursday matchup in Week 1, Utah will find out exactly what it is working with, as the team tries to win the Pac-12 South for the third straight season.

The first game of the season will offer a reunion with running back Devonta’e Henry-Cole, who transferred to BYU during the offseason. The Cougars should be a better team this year, with an experienced quarterback and all five starting offensive linemen back.

BYU will be hungry for a win in the season opener, because Michigan State, Arizona State, and Minnesota are up next on the schedule.  

Utah is 9-0 in its past nine games against BYU.

Texas vs. LSU

Last year, LSU quarterback Joe Burrow completed 31 of his 39 passes and scored four times on the Texas defense in the Tigers' 45-38 victory.

The Tigers were the most dominant team in college football, but a lot has changed in Baton Rouge. LSU tied an NFL record, with 14 players selected in the 2020 draft. Five of those went in the first round.  

Now head coach Ed Orgeron will look to continue the success of the program's flashy spread offense, with passing game coordinator Joe Brady off to the NFL, as well.

Meanwhile, Tom Herman’s seat is warm in Texas. The fourth-year head coach will need to bounce back from an 8-5 season in 2019 and will welcome seven new assistant coaches.

The Longhorns also have quarterback Sam Ehlinger back and six other starters on offense, plus nine returning starters on defense.

Before LSU’s rout of Texas in 2019, the Longhorns defeated the Tigers, 35-20, in the 2003 Cotton Bowl.

The 2020 meeting should be close, as indicated by the 3.5-point spread, but Texas should emerge the winner this time around.

Florida vs. Georgia

In a tradition that dates back to the early 1900s, the Florida Gators and Georgia Bulldogs will meet on Halloween for their annual rivalry matchup in Jacksonville.

Georgia will usher in the No. 1 recruiting class in the nation this fall, while Florida and third-year coach Dan Mullen seem closer than ever to putting the Gators back on top in the SEC.   

Junior quarterback Kyle Trask will head Florida’s offense, and Wake Forest transfer Jamie Newman will succeed Jake Fromm in Athens.

Georgia’s defeat to LSU in the SEC Championship Game cost the Bulldogs their second College Football Playoff berth in 2019. Their only regular-season loss came against South Carolina in double overtime.

Florida fell twice — at LSU and in a 24-17 decision against the Bulldogs — last season.

This year, Georgia is the toughest opponent on Florida’s schedule and will likely make or break the Gators’ chances of a CFP appearance.

Michigan vs. Ohio State

The last week of the regular season is filled with incredible rivalries, and “the Game” between Michigan and Ohio State may be the best.

The Wolverines lead the series, 58-51-6, but since Jim Harbaugh became Michigan’s head coach in 2015, he hasn’t beaten the Buckeyes.

Ohio State currently owns an eight-game win streak in the series and annihilated Michigan, 56-27, last year. The Buckeyes went undefeated in the regular season and were a popular pick to win the national championship, until Clemson edged out Ohio State in the College Football Playoff semifinal.

This year, quarterback Justin Fields, a Heisman contender, will look to carry the Buckeyes to the school’s second CFP championship. He won’t have J.K. Dobbins in the backfield, or star defensive end Chase Young, on his side, but there are capable replacements waiting to step up.  

Michigan will retool its offense without quarterback Shea Patterson, while the defense will bring back a ton of experience.

Ohio State will host Michigan in Columbus, where the Wolverines have lost every time since 2000. With the Buckeyes rebuilding, particularly on defense, could this be the year that all changes?
