The ultimate Notre Dame football quiz

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish will try to cap off their perfect season on Saturday, Dec. 19 when they face the Clemson Tigers in the ACC Championship Game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.

This is the second time this season these storied programs will meet. The last time they clashed on Nov. 7, the Fighting Irish prevailed 47-40 in a double overtime thriller that ended with an emphatic touchdown run by Kyren Williams.

It was the Fighting Irish's first victory over a top-ranked team in 27 years, although many fans believe it deserves an asterisk as Clemson was missing All-ACC quarterback Trevor Lawrence, who tested positive for COVID-19, as well as a trio of injured defensive starters.

If Notre Dame wins again on Saturday, the program will claim its first ACC Championship, and will get a shot at its first national title since 1988.
