Prochazka is making moves

There is a lot of hype surrounding Prochazka, the former Rizin champ who made a stunning debut at UFC 251, when he wasted Volkan Oezdemir.

The last time Prochazka lost was at the hands of Muhammad Lawal in 2016, a loss he avenged three years later.

His tricky style and savage power has allowed him to score 24 wins inside the distance, which leaves many excited about what he is bringing to the UFC.

Reyes is plummeting back to Earth

Reyes earned his chance to fight at the top of the division but hasn’t had much luck since he got there. He has lost his last two fights, to Jon Jones and Jan Blachowicz, and needs a win to stop his spiral down the rankings.

Like his opponent, Reyes is an explosive striker. The 31-year-old is athletic and can cause a lot of damage with his kicks. He has shown he can end fights quickly but can sometimes get too ahead of himself with his offense.

Prochazka should have an easy night

Prochazka’s unorthodox offense and frightening power is not the kind of thing Reyes was hoping for to get back on track. Reyes was overwhelmed and battered by Blachowicz, who is as conventional as they come.

If Prochazka gets too comfortable, there’s a chance Reyes will catch him with a wicked shot. Desperation is a great motivator, and Reyes might feel inclined to take some major risks, after he feels Prochazka’s power early.

All signs point to a one-sided beating. Prochazka is that good, and Reyes’ time in the spotlight is ending. While there could be some fun two-way action to start the fight, it will devolve into a lopsided beating.

Prochazka will beat Reyes down and draw a corner stoppage in the third round.
