NASCAR: Foxwoods Resort Casino 301 preview
The NASCAR Cup Series will make its annual trip to the northernmost track on the schedule, New Hampshire Motor Speedway, Sunday for the Foxwoods Resort Casino 301.
Points leader Kevin Harvick is favored to post the victory, which would tie him with Denny Hamlin for the most wins in the Cup Series this season.
But other drivers hold better value Sunday. Here are our top three picks.

Denny Hamlin
Hamlin’s odds are fairly short, by NASCAR betting standards, but he offers value in this spot.
He enters New Hampshire fresh off his series-leading fifth victory of 2020 at Kansas on July 23. He has won at this course as recently as 2017 and finished second in this race last year.

Hamlin has the best average finishing position of any active driver at “the Magic Mile” (9.88), along with three victories and 662 laps led. By virtue of a random draw, Hamlin will begin Sunday’s race in second place.
Martin Truex Jr.
Truex has a good chance to notch his first victory at New Hampshire.
He has an average finishing position of fourth over his last five races on this oval along, with three stage victories. Only two active drivers have led more than the 744 laps Truex has at New Hampshire — Harvick (759) and Kyle Busch (1,128).
The No. 19 Toyota driver seems due for his second score of the season, after close losses at Kansas and Kentucky. Truex will roll off the grid in 11th place.
Aric Almirola
Longshot players may want to hitch their wagon to NASCAR’s recent paragon of consistency, Aric Almirola.
Almirola, who was awarded the pole position for Sunday's race, has posted an astonishing eight straight top 10 finishes. He has handled everything, from Talladega Superspeedway to the “Tricky Triangle” at Pocono (twice) to the 1 1/2-mile circuit at Kansas, in that span, so “the Magic Mile” should not trip him up.
He has an average finishing position of seventh in his last two visits to New Hampshire, along with a stage win and 54 laps led.
