NASCAR Jockey Made in America 250 odds and value picks
The NASCAR Cup Series will make an appropriate stop at Road America on Sunday — Independence Day — for the Jockey Made in America 250 (2:30 p.m. ET, NBC).
Chase Elliott is the +250 favorite prior to qualifying (sessions will be held Sunday morning), based on his strong road course record, but anything can happen at a track that will make its debut on the Cup Series schedule in 2021.
Let’s look for some alternatives to Elliott, as we make our selections for the Jockey Made in America 250.

Kyle Larson (+350)
Kyle Larson had his three-race winning streak snapped at Pocono on Saturday, when he suffered a flat tire on the final lap of the Pocono Organics CBD 325.
He had to settle for ninth that day, then came back to finish second in the latter half of the doubleheader at the “Tricky Triangle.” The red-hot Hendrick Motorsports driver should give teammate Elliott a run for his money at Road America.
WHAT A FINISH!

Larson finished second in a rain-shortened race at Circuit of the Americas before he broke out on his win streak. He seized the road race at Sonoma along the way.
The No. 5 Chevrolet driver has to be strongly considered by any serious bettor Sunday.
Martin Truex Jr. (+600)
NASCAR’s erstwhile road race ace — Martin Truex Jr. — turned in a vintage performance at Sonoma, where he checked in third, behind Larson. It was leaps and bounds better than his finish at COTA, where he wrecked because of poor visibility.

Truex ranks fourth among active drivers in laps led on road courses (267) and sixth in average finishing position (13.8). He could pick up his fourth win of the season in the Jockey Made in America 250, but see how the No. 19 Toyota qualifies Sunday for a clue.
Joey Logano (+1200)
His 1-for-29 record belies it, but Joey Logano feels due for a breakthrough on a road course, and it could come Sunday.

Logano has tallied five straight top 10s — including four straight in the top five— in road races in the Cup Series. He has even led 29 laps over his last three efforts.
The No. 22 Ford driver has been in good form overall, with six top 10s in his last seven races, including four in the top five. Logano’s lone road win in the Cup Series came at Watkins Glen in 2015.
