Logan Thomas has enjoyed a breakout season with the Washington Football Team, setting career highs in catches (72) and targets (110). He also had six touchdowns for Washington.
Now, will he score again on Saturday against Tampa Bay?
There is an issue at quarterback for Washington, with Alex Smith listed as questionable for Saturday due to a calf injury.
That said, Thomas has been a consistent performer in Washington’s offense throughout this season, and while Washington in general has a difficult matchup in Tampa Bay, the veteran tight end faces a defense that gave up nine touchdowns to that position in the regular season, according to Football Reference.

Thomas also led Washington in red zone targets and targets within the opposition’s 10-yard line.
This might be a low-scoring game, but if Washington gets into the red zone, Thomas will be a threat to grab a TD.
Pick: Logan Thomas anytime touchdown (+210)
Tom Brady passing yards
At the age of 43, Tom Brady is showing he still has plenty left in the tank. His move to Tampa Bay gave the Buccaneers a veteran quarterback who oozes winning experience, and the result has been the franchise's first playoff appearance in more than 10 years.
Brady has been on an especially good roll of late, with 12 touchdown passes and only one interception in his last four games – all wins. He has threw for 340 or more yards over his last three outings.
That high level of production may tempt many bettors to take the Over on Tom Brady passing yards this weekend, with the total set at 295.5 at BetAmerica on Friday.

We’re partial to Overs in this space, too, but keep in mind that Brady’s last three games were against the Atlanta Falcons and Detroit Lions, and neither of those teams seemed to have any desire to play defense late in the season. Or at any point in the season, really.
The Washington Football Team, on the other hand, plays very strong defense. Only the Los Angeles Rams defense allowed fewer total passing yards this season. Washington gave up an average of 191 pass yards against per game.
Against the Rams in Week 11, Brady threw for only 216 yards. Brady has been very good this season, but the Over on this prop just seems a little too high given the quality of the opposition.
Pick: Tom Brady Under 295.5 passing yards (-115)
J.D. McKissic receptions
J.D. McKissic doesn’t garner many touches in the Washington run game, but has proven to be an effective pass catcher out of the backfield, which is something Tampa Bay will have to be aware of.
McKissic was consistently used in Washington’s pass game during the regular season, with 80 receptions, which is the second highest total among running backs behind only Alvin Kamara.
McKissic garnered double digits in pass targets five times, and he went over five catches in a single game nine times. For bettors inclined to bet the Over on J.D. McKissic Receptions – with the total currently set at 4.5 – the Buccaneers defense has allowed the highest total of receptions to running backs this season.
Have confidence in the Over hitting for this prop on Saturday.
Pick: J.D. McKissic Over 4.5 receptions (-150)
