Cardinals vs. Seahawks: The best betting props for TNF

The first meeting of the season between the Arizona Cardinals and Seattle Seahawks was a wild, back-and-forth affair. Will we see more of the same when these NFC West rivals meet again for Thursday Night Football?

The Seahawks are coming off a disappointing loss to the Los Angeles Rams, while the Cardinals had yet another sensational comeback victory, this time over the Buffalo Bills, thanks to a brilliant Hail Mary pass to DeAndre Hopkins with two seconds left in the game.

Football fans and bettors could be in store for another high-scoring game between the Cardinals and Seahawks. Here are the top three prop bets we like most for Thursday Night Football.

Anytime touchdown scorer

Anytime D.K. Metcalf has been held out of the end zone in a game this season, he has responded the next week by scoring not one major, but two.

Two touchdowns from the Seahawks’ stud receiver on Thursday might be a stretch, considering Metcalf was held to just two catches on five targets for 23 yards and zero touchdowns against Arizona in the first meeting. However, the following week against the 49ers, Metcalf was targeted 15 times. He made 12 catches for 161 yards and two scores.

Metcalf drew a tough matchup last week against Rams cornerback Jalen Ramsey and it showed. Metcalf made two catches on a season-low four targets for 28 yards. He also had one pass slip through his finger tips that would have gone for a significant gain in the second half.

Metcalf had previously drawn a tough matchup against Cardinals cornerback Patrick Peterson in the first meeting between these teams. That’s likely to pick up again on Thursday, so Metcalf will have his work cut out for him against the Cards.

But after a quiet, no doubt frustrating outing against the Rams, the Seahawks will certainly try to make Metcalf a focal point of the pass game on Thursday. He has shown time and time again this season that he can suddenly turn the game around with a big play.

Pick: D.K. Metcalf anytime touchdown (-135)

DeAndre Hopkins receiving yards

DeAndre Hopkins gets a favorable matchup against the Seahawks, a team he has torched once already this season to the tune of 10 catches for 103 yards and a touchdown.

Not much has changed since that game for Seattle. Their defense didn’t allow a passing touchdown against the Rams, but they also coughed up 302 pass yards, which Los Angeles was glad to take in a winning effort.

The same issues still exist. The Seahawks cannot get stops when they need to. They struggle mightily against the pass, allowing a league worst 3,180 passing yards, and an average of 8.1 yards per attempt.

Hopkins has gone over 100 yards receiving in five of nine games, including against Seattle. Will the star receiver replicate that outing from Week 7? He needs 86 receiving yards for the Over to hit, and the Seahawks have not been able to prove on a consistent basis that they can defend the pass.

Feel confident in the Over here.

Pick: DeAndre Hopkins Over 85.5 receiving yards (-115)

Kyler Murray passing yards

Kyler Murray has averaged 263 yards passing per game this season, so for the Over to hit on Thursday, he’d need to pass for 19 yards above his average.

We apologize for being so repetitive, but the Seahawks defense, well, you know...

Murray threw for 360 yards against the Seahawks in Week 7 in a huge comeback win, and while the Seahawks have talked for the past few weeks about improving their defense, those words ring hollow when you don’t – or can’t – apply them on the field.

Murray is enjoying a great sophomore season with the Cardinals, and you can expect that he will, sparked by those last-second heroics last weekend against Buffalo, have another big night against Seattle’s secondary.

Pick: Kyler Murray Over 281.5 passing yards
