Both the Saints and Cowboys suffered disappointing losses on Thanksgiving Day in Week 12 and will look to bounce back in primetime, as they enter the final stretch of the regular season.

The Cowboys sit in first place in the NFC East and currently own the No. 4 seed in the NFC, while the Saints — who lost starting quarterback Jameis Winston to a knee injury — have fallen in four straight, behind backup Trevor Siemian, to drop to 5-6 and third in the NFC South.

Injuries have caused a major setback for New Orleans recently, while the Cowboys have endured their own health issues, including a recent COVID-19 outbreak that will force defensive coordinator Dan Quinn to step in as interim coach for Thursday's matchup.

Not only will the Cowboys be without head coach Mike McCarthy, but right tackle Terence Steele, three offensive coaches, and two strength coaches have entered COVID-19 protocols as well.

Despite the chaos surrounding both of these teams, bettors appear confident Dallas will get the job done on the road.

Let's take a look at how the public is betting the moneyline, point spread, totals, and more at TwinSpires Sports ahead of Week 13's Thursday Night Football matchup.

Although Ezekiel Elliott has been dealing with a knee issue, the star running back was back to full practice this week and is scheduled to play in Thursday's matchup, along with receiver CeeDee Lamb, who missed last game with a concussion.

With the return of Prescott's No. 1 target, the Cowboys' offense should be able to attack the Saints' 23rd-ranked pass defense with ease.

The NFL's top-ranked offense (419.8) has bettors feeling confident they will win on the road, even with part of their coaching staff missing from the sidelines.

Seventy percent of all moneyline handle and 87% of all tickets are backing Dallas to win outright on Thursday.

The betting public also believes Dallas will win decisively on the road, even with quarterback Taysom Hill slated to return in place of Siemian for the Saints.

More than 70% of all tickets and handle favor the Cowboys as six-point road favorites.

The Cowboys are 4-1 ATS in their last five road games, while New Orleans is 3-8 ATS versus teams with a winning record.

The Saints are also 1-3 ATS at home this season, whereas Dallas is 4-1 ATS as the away team.

Bettors are a bit more divided on the amount of scoring that will happen in this NFC battle.

A little more than 50% of tickets is on the Under (47) to hit in a matchup featuring the third-ranked scoring offense.

Dallas averages 29.6 points per game, while New Orleans scores 23.4 per contest.

The Over is 5-2 in Dallas' last seven games as a favorite and 4-1 in New Orleans' last five games overall, but the Under is 4-1 in the last five games played in New Orleans between these two teams.

Most popular prop bet: Taysom Hill anytime touchdown scorer

As for player props, bettors are eyeing Taysom Hill to score an anytime touchdown, which TwinSpires Sports has specially boosted (+195 to +220 odds) for Thursday's contest.

Hill, who lost out on the starting quarterback job to Winston in the offseason, is a versatile playmaker who can score a multitude of ways (as a passer, receiver, or rusher).

Through six games this season, Hill has scored three rushing touchdowns. He tallied eight rushing scores, along with one receiving touchdown, in the 2020 regular season.

With Alvin Kamara questionable for Week 13, the Saints will need to get creative to find the end zone against the Cowboys.

For this reason, bettors expect Hill to work his magic and score an anytime touchdown Thursday night.
