We’ve kicked off the fourth week of the 2021 National Football League season, and we did so with a surprisingly-thrilling Thursday night contest. A recap of that game kicks off this week’s NFL roundup!

Bengals Rally, Improve to 3-1

The Cincinnati Bengals spotted the Jacksonville Jaguars a 14-0 halftime lead, but went to work after the break. Joe Burrow finished with 348 passing yards and two touchdowns, and a 35-yard Evan McPherson field goal as time expired gave Cincinnati its third victory in the first four weeks. In doing so, the Bengals are assured at least a share of the AFC North lead at the conclusion of Week 4’s action.

Jaguars Sputter to an 0-4 Start

It’s not like there aren’t positives to take away for the Jags. James Robinson found the end zone twice in the losing effort, and Trevor Lawrence looked capable under center.

However, while not many NFL insiders had high expectations for Urban Meyer’s bunch this season, things don’t look promising given the squad’s upcoming schedule. The Jaguars may not be favored to win a game all season long, and that may mean another high draft pick this coming spring.

Brady vs. Belichick Sunday Night

In case you haven’t heard, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and New England Patriots will square off Sunday night, as Tom Brady returns to Foxboro to battle his old coach.

Don’t worry, we won’t put together an over-the-top video package to the tune of Adele’s "Hello," or go the ESPN route and ask if this is the biggest game in Boston sports history (COME ON, PEOPLE!!!), but this game promises to deliver massive ratings for NBC, and for good reason. And speaking of Tampa Bay…

Bucs Sign Richard Sherman

Tampa Bay’s secondary has been ravaged by injuries early in the season, and as a result, they reached out to one of the top free agents on the market.

Defensive back Richard Sherman reported for duty earlier this week, and he may be in the lineup for the reigning Super Bowl champs as early as next week.
