Underdogs performed well in Week 15, posting a 10-6 record against the spread, and the Jets earned their first win of the season as a 17-point underdog.

We have a great slate of games in Week 16, so let’s get to my picks!

Philadelphia came up a little short against Arizona in Week 15, but I loved how the Eagles rallied back after being down 16-0 after the first quarter. A tie game midway through the fourth quarter, Arizona managed to prevail behind the heroics of Kyler Murray.

Jalen Hurts continued to improve in defeat – his composure in the pocket was remarkable – and I certainly underestimated his passing skills. The rookie looks like a legitimate starting quarterback, and Philadelphia has every reason to be excited for next season.

The Eagles will get back on the winning track against the Cowboys.

I’m not buying Dallas’ two-game win streak, as they’ve defeated a pair of inept opponents the last two weeks. Cincinnati fumbled on its first three possessions, one of which was returned for a touchdown, and easily outgained the Cowboys in a Week 14 loss. San Francisco fumbled twice inside its 25-yard line, resulting in a pair of first-quarter touchdowns, and the Niners kept giving it away (four turnovers) despite holding Dallas to 291 total yards in a Week 15 setback.

Philadelphia has committed one turnover since Hurts took the helm, holding a +4 takeaway/giveaway advantage over the last two games. Their defense should frustrate Dallas, which isn’t running the ball effectively, and the Eagles will have too much offense for the Cowboys.

Pick: Eagles

Indianapolis Colts vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Pittsburgh is not the same team from the first 12 weeks of the season. And it’s been a dramatic fall from grace. Indianapolis is poised to hand the Steelers their fourth consecutive setback.

After elbow surgery, 38-year-old Ben Roethlisberger returned in terrific form, leading the Steelers to 11 straight wins. The Steelers outgained their first six opponents in rushing yards, but Roethlisberger and the running game have disappeared since the beginning of December. And the offensive line play has plummeted to new lows. Pittsburgh is no longer getting any push up front, and that will be an issue against a formidable Indianapolis defense.

Philip Rivers and his receivers can have success against a Pittsburgh secondary that was exploited by Buffalo in Week 14, but the difference will be Jonathan Taylor and the Colts defense.

Indianapolis will prove too good in the second half for declining Pittsburgh, and the Colts will continue to build momentum for a possible postseason run.

Pick: Colts

Tennessee Titans vs. Green Bay Packers

Since an embarrassing first-half performance against Cleveland, Tennessee has been playing with an edge. The Titans have outscored the competition by a 105-38 margin over the last 10 quarters.

Green Bay wants to get the regular season over. They haven’t been as sharp in recent weeks, posting a 2-4 ATS record over the last six games, and the Packers are coming off a pair of lackluster wins over the Lions and Panthers. They entered sleep mode after scoring touchdowns on their first three possessions in Week 15.

Carolina rallied back into contention, with the opportunity to tie the game on their final drive, as Green Bay logged four punts and a field goal in the second half. The Packers were held to only 291 total yards.

Derrick Henry is making a push to break the all-time rushing record, posting 362 rushing yards over the last two games. Ryan Tannehill enters in top form, tossing five touchdowns while completing 79% of his passes over the last two games. Tennessee will score points on a Green Bay defense that has faced only one playoff team since mid-October, surrendering 34 points to Indianapolis in a Week 11 defeat.

Tennessee is playing better than Green Bay presently. The Packers may find a way to pull out a close game, but points are attractive with the surging Titans.

Pick: Titans
