Both clubs had four-game winning streaks snapped last week

Cleveland came out on the losing end of an unforgettable Monday night clash with the Baltimore Ravens in Week 14, falling 47-42. It was just their second loss in their last seven games.

Monday night’s tilt was an emotional one against a divisional rival, so Kevin Stefanski’s troops must guard against a primetime “letdown” here.

New York scored just seven points in a one-sided defeat courtesy of the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14. The offense looked listless, managing a mere 159 yards in total.

Browns’ offense is surging

A critical turnover in Week 14’s loss aside, quarterback Baker Mayfield has been playing exceptionally well for the Browns of late.

In his last three games, the former No. 1 overall pick completed 66.1 percent of his passes for 8.6 yards per attempt with eight touchdowns. Mayfield’s Monday night interception was his first since Week 7.

Cleveland’s running game – led by tailback Nick Chubb – has managed over 100 yards in six straight games, further aiding the offense.

Can Giants compete if McCoy is quarterbacking?

New York quarterback Daniel Jones was able to return from a hamstring injury that sidelined him in Week 13, but now it appears he’s in danger of missing Week 15’s affair with an ankle sprain.

That means Colt McCoy could make his second start of the season for “Big Blue.” He was far from impressive in his club’s upset victory over the Seattle Seahawks, going 13-for-22 for just 105 yards.

However, the Giants have been a “run first” team in 2020.

Week 14 marked the first time in eight games New York failed to record over 100 yards on the ground. Wayne Gallman and company should atone against the Browns’ 16th-ranked run stoppers, which were torn apart by the Ravens (231 yards) last week.

Will the Browns cover the spread in Week 15?

Trends say take Over

The Over is 9-2 in the Browns’ last 11 games against teams with losing records, and 8-4 in their last 12 games overall.

The Giants have exceeded the total in seven of their last 10 games after scoring 15 or fewer in their most recent contest.

Score prediction: Browns 28, Giants 20

NFL Pick: Over 43.5 points
