The 3 best Super Bowl receiving props

There is an insane amount of prop bets available for the Super Bowl. One category that does not get enough love, however, is receiving props. There is so much value in this grouping, especially in a game that is so tight-end heavy. We are going to find the best three available and give you a pick in each.

Not too many people are breaking down how many receiving yards Demarcus Robinson is going to get in this game, but this seems like a lock.

There are two key factors in this wager. Robinson lines up on the left outside receiver position more than any other Chiefs receiver and Richard Sherman owns the left half of the field.

I imagine the Chiefs will want to move around Tyreek Hill and Travis Kelce to avoid Sherman. This will leave Sherman to shut down Robinson. Robinson is known as a deep threat, and Sherman only allowed one catch on 11 targets over 20 yards against him this season.

Sherman finished the season ranked as the No. 1 cornerback in the league by Pro Football Focus. Robinson will be lucky to do anything other than some gimmick plays and screens.

Pick: Under (-200)

This is the matchup so many are excited for—the two best tight ends in the league. Kelce finished the season with 1,229 yards on 97 catches, while George Kittle managed 1,053 yards on 85 catches. The playoffs so far favor Kelce, as he has 164 yards on 13 catches, while Kittle only has 35 yards on four receptions.

The big difference is the defensive matchups each has faced. Kittle faced the second- and 11th-best defenses against the tight end position. Kelce faced the 31st- and 26th-ranked defenses against tight ends. The 49ers are the sixth-best defense against tight ends, while Kansas City ranks 23rd. Kittle served his purpose as an excellent run blocker so far. Now he will shine as a pass catcher and go over 100 yards against this Chiefs defense.

Pick: George Kittle (-110)

This wager is a little more of a gut-feeling pick for me. I have already selected Kendrick Bourne as my first touchdown scorer in one of my favorite prop bets.

There is one catch for you right there. Only two more needed in the rest of the game.

Bourne scored in five games this season. He reached three catches in four of those five games. Bourne reached this number in six of his last 13 games. I like him to break out in this game, for around five catches.

Pick: Over (+130)
