With half of the Euro 2020 final matchup set, Italy awaits the winner of Wednesday’s match between England and Denmark. While the Brits are favored and present little betting value, the player prop market presents a friendlier way into the match for those wishing to get in on the action.

Let’s look at the three player prop bets you should be eyeing as we approach the last semi-final!

Mason Mount or Raheem Sterling to give an assist

Over their last two matches, the Three Lions have found the back of the next six times after scoring just twice in the group stage. That has been in large part due to the change in formation from a 3-5-2 to a 4-2-3-1, allowing Raheem Sterling to operate wide and cut in on his right foot. The return of Mason Mount from COVID-19 isolation also helped as he sat behind Harry Kane and pulled the strings in attack.

Two of England’s four goals against the Ukraine were set up by Sterling and Mount, with left back Luke Shaw assisting the other two. Given Denmark’s solid defensive unit, I expect the English attack to yet again originate from the left with Shaw overlapping Sterling, who then can cut inside and link with Mount. Getting Mount and Sterling to assist and doubling your money at the same time is just too much value to pass up.

Pick: YES (+190)

Harry Kane Over/Under 2.5 shots

Kane finally broke free against the Ukraine and found the back of the net twice, after breaking his England duck with a goal late in the match with Germany. However, Ukraine left tons of space for him to operate and had no real presence in their back line to contend with him. The Danes will not have that problem, with a pair of center backs who have regular experience playing against Kane in the Premier League, and a holding midfielder who plays with him at Tottenham.

Even with Kane’s four-shot output against Ukraine, the striker is averaging just two shots per contest through the tournament, and had yet to top two shots prior to his quarter-final performance. With how Denmark defends, and how isolated Kane is likely to be at times, a regression to the mean is likely here. Go with Kane to have a low-output match, and hope it is settled in regulation.

Pick: Under 2.5 shots (+140)

Kasper Dolberg Over/Under 0.5 shots on goal

While they were trounced 4-0 by England, Ukraine had their chances to score and striker Roman Yaremchuk was able to put a shot on goal. Germany saw a shot on goal from two of their three front men, and of their five matches in the tournament, only the Czech Republic did not see a striker put a shot onto England’s goal.

While their defense has yet to concede a goal in this tournament, England plays a high line and has little pace to track back in the middle. Dolberg has scored three goals in his two starts in this tournament, accounting for half of Denmark’s goals against Wales and the Czech Republic. While he might not be the one to finally put a blemish on the English defensive record, it is unlikely that he will not at least register an attempt on target, making this solid value for bettors.

Pick: Over 0.5 shots on goal (-125)
