Penn State vs. Ohio State tops this weekend's must-see games

NCAAF: Penn State vs. Ohio State, Saturday, noon ET, FOX

Ashley: I’ve had this game circled on my calendar for a while. Unfortunately, it’s not quite as exciting as I had originally anticipated, seeing as Penn State will enter the game with one loss instead of heading in undefeated like Ohio State. It’s still a huge game, nonetheless. I’ve got ties to both schools, but I’ll be pulling for a Buckeyes victory and look forward to the return of Chase Young. If Ohio State can win Saturday, it’ll be one game away from a 12-0 season, with Michigan waiting in the Big House for the chance to play spoiler to its most hated rival.

NCAAF: San Diego State vs. Hawaii, Saturday, 11 p.m. ET (Facebook)

Jeremy: What’s better than island football in the middle of the night? The winner will earn a spot in the Mountain West Championship Game as the West Division representative, and the game will feature clashing styles. Hawaii is explosive on offense—as we’ve come to expect since the days of Timmy Chang and Colt Brennan—but has the second-worst scoring defense in the conference (even after it held UNLV to seven points last week). San Diego State, conversely, has the top defense in the Mountain West (13.7 points per game), but the second-worst scoring offense. Forget Neflix and Disney+ if you're struggling to sleep. Put your lei on, mix up your favorite tropical cocktail and fire up the computer to stream this crucial Mountain West matchup.

EPL: Manchester City vs. Chelsea, Saturday, 12:30 p.m. ET (NBCSN)

Philip: This is a matchup all soccer fans will want to have eyes on as City trail Chelsea by just one point. This is a must-win for City as it could see them fall 12 points behind Liverpool if they lose. Chelsea were beaten 6-0 here in February, and I can see a similar result happening as City will want to prove a point after their recent slip to Liverpool. A big loss here for Chelsea could negatively affect their in-form youngsters.

NBA: Houston Rockets vs. Los Angeles Clippers, Friday, 10:30 p.m. ET (ESPN)

Ryan: Clippers guard Patrick Beverly hit the nail on the head on Wednesday night when he described watching Kawhi Leonard and Paul George as "fun as hell." The All-Star duo combined for 42-points in their first game together while leading L.A. to a thrilling overtime win against the Celtics. The Clippers will have another tall test tonight when they try to slow down James Harden. The Rockets guard has already dropped 40 points or more five times and is leading the league in scoring for the third consecutive season. Can the Beard continue to fill up the stat sheet, or will PG and the Klaw put the clamps down? Tonight will show us all what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object.
