NCAAF: #1 LSU at #2 Alabama, Saturday, 3:30 p.m. ET, CBS

Ashley: I’ve personally been longing for an Alabama (and Clemson) loss all season, so I’ll be eagerly pulling for an LSU victory Saturday. The Tigers have looked more impressive in the first half of the season, sit at 8-0 despite a tougher schedule than most and could cause the Crimson Tide some real issues, especially with Tua Tagovailoa less than 100%. I feel a Tigers win coming, and I can’t wait to witness it.

NCAAF: #5 Penn State at #13 Minnesota, Saturday, noon ET, ABC

Jeremy: While everyone is awaiting the main course of LSU-Alabama on Saturday afternoon, I’m looking forward to the appetizer between fellow unbeatens Penn State and Minnesota a little bit more. Not only do I think it will be a better game, but I’m a sucker for a great story. You can watch great Alabama and LSU teams pretty much every year. How often do you get to see a team like Minnesota with an opportunity to reach true national prominence with a gargantuan game at home?

Soccer: Liverpool vs. Manchester City, Sunday, 11:30 a.m. ET, NBCSN

Philip: The English Premier League game of the week features a mouthwatering clash between Liverpool and Manchester City at Anfield, which could potentially decide who lifts the cup in May. Liverpool currently stands six points clear of City, with 31 points from a possible 33, its best start to a top-flight campaign. Liverpool can move nine points clear at the top with a win, and it looks as if the Reds don’t know how to lose at the moment. The momentum is with them, and the desire and fight from every player right up until the final whistle this season has been outstanding.

NBA: Miami Heat at Los Angeles Lakers, Friday, 7:30 p.m. ET, NBATV

Ryan: The 6-1 Lakers have been every bit as good as advertised, with a frontcourt featuring future Hall of Famers LeBron James and Anthony Davis. LA's dynamic duo has combined to average 52.7 points, 19.2 rebounds and 13.8 assists per game. Here's the scary part: they're still getting used to playing with one another. I can't wait to watch them slice and dice the Heat's interior, in what should be a tightly contested game.
