Three tennis matches are set for Wednesday in the U.S. Men's Clay Court Championship. Reilly Opelka faces Casper Ruud, Christian Garin takes on Jeremy Chardy, and Bernard Tomic goes against Marcel Granollers. Check out head-to-head matchup BetAmerica odds, along with analysis and free picks for all three ATP matches in Houston.

Reilly Opelka -115 vs. Casper Ruud -110

The 21-year-old U.S. player Reilly Opelka lasted all the way until the third round at the Miami Open. His performance was eye-opening, as that was a deep tournament. In the third round he faced 13th seed Daniil Medvedev. Medvedev beat Opelka 7-6 (7-5), 6-7 (5-7), 7-6 (7-0). Notice something interesting? The seeded player needed three straight tiebreaker sets to take down Opelka.

Casper Ruud, Opelka’s opponent Wednesday, has already won a match at the Clay Court Championship. Ruud defeated Hugo Dellien 7-6 (9-7), 6-4 in his first-round match. Dellien is no Opelka, though. The odds say this can go either way, but Opelka is playing at a high level. He’s worth backing at the price.

Free Pick: Reilly Opelka

Christian Garin -125 vs. Jeremy Chardy -105

Chilean player Christian Garin handled favored Pablo Cuevas 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 in the first round. Garin lost in the Brasil Open finals 7-5, 6-3 to Guido Pella in his last tournament played. That’s a sign he could go a long way in Houston in this week.

Jeremy Chardy might end his hopes for a Clay Court Championship trophy early, though. Chardy had a decent Miami Open, where he defeated Nicolas Jarry 6-7 (1-7), 6-2, 7-6 (7-5) and Gilles Simon 6-4, 6-2, before he fell to 11th seed Borna Coric 6-7 (2-7), 6-2, 6-3 in the third round.

Chardy’s worth a look here after his nice performance at the Miami Open. He’s worth backing at the slightly better odds.

Free Pick: Jeremy Chardy

Bernard Tomic +120 vs. Marcel Granollers -155

Tomic defeated Denis Kudla as an underdog in the first round 7-6 (10-8), 7-5. In the Miami Open, Tomic handled Tiago Montiero in the first round before he pushed top seed Novak Djokovic to a tiebreaker first set on his way to a loss in the second round. Just hanging with a player like Djokovic says a lot.

Marcel Granollers took on Taylor Fritz in the first round at the Clay Court Championship. He beat Fritz 6-2, 4-6, 6-2. Granollers is heavily favored here, but he might offer underlay odds. Taking the overlay odds on the dog makes sense.

Free Pick: Bernard Tomic
